Baltic Offshore Grid Forum

The Baltic Offshore Grid Forum (BOGF) is a communication platform for stakeholders involved in field of offshore wind energy and grid development in the Baltic Sea region.

Aim

The BOGF fosters the development of offshore wind energy through hybrid and meshed grid systems in the Baltic Sea region. We believe these systems have the potential to exploit offshore wind energy resources more efficently and are a valuable step towards sustainable energy production in the region.

Objective

• Through regular events and knowledge exchange between key stakeholders we are a central forum of exploring the innovative potential of offshore grid connections.
• We want to form an umbrella to connect existing initiatives (BEMIP, BaSOF, etc.) and create synergies with regard to offshore grid development in the Baltic Sea.
